GBPH Sourcing WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

Clear Pricing for Different Sourcing Needs

Keep your current suppliers with a 5% management fee (minimum $100 per order), request a new-product quote with the agreed sourcing service included, or pay for one clearly defined task. Separate third-party charges are identified before approval.

Three ways to work with GBPH Sourcing

Keep your selected suppliers, develop a new sourcing route or commission a defined project.

AT A GLANCE

These are different ways to work, not three levels of the same service. Actual deliverables are confirmed in the written scope.

A model comparison, not an automatic entitlement list. Contracting parties, supplier access, acceptance criteria and any additional provider charges must be confirmed before work starts.

The rules behind the estimate

Supplier Support fee

The service fee is the higher of 5% of the managed product value or $100 per order. The percentage base is the goods covered by that order. Freight, duties, taxes, inspection, samples, tooling, storage and other separate charges are excluded unless a different basis is agreed in writing.

Separate managed orders are assessed separately. The calculator models one order; it does not combine unrelated purchases to reduce minimum charges.

Sourcing Partnership quotation

Pro pricing is provided through a tailored product quotation, not a percentage-based calculator. The quoted product price includes the agreed sourcing service cost, and Basic’s 5% management fee is not added again to that same scope.

Supplier contacts, underlying factory-price disclosure, product remedies and additional work are addressed in the written proposal. An included-service quote should not be read as including every downstream provider cost.

Mixed products and handling

For a mixed order with two or more product lines, divide the total product value by the number of lines. If the average is at least $500, the published mixed-order handling surcharge is waived. If the average is lower, add $25 for each product line valued below $500. This rule applies to Supplier Support and Sourcing Partnership; Project Desk work is quoted by scope.

A product line means the separately managed product or SKU group confirmed for quoting and handling. Colors, sizes, sets and variants may need clarification before the fee is confirmed. Keep the grouping consistent with the actual work rather than splitting or combining lines solely to change an estimate.

Project Desk does not have an automatically calculated service total. A document review, a development task and monthly procurement coordination can require different deliverables and resources. Request a written Custom quote for those tasks rather than relying on an automatic percentage-based estimate.

Check the details for your project

Review supplier access, payment roles, standalone work and additional costs before agreeing the scope.

Know what supplier information you will receive
SUPPLIER TRANSPARENCY

The level of supplier access differs by working arrangement. Ask for it to be written into your proposal before ordering research or goods.

BASIC

Your supplier stays your supplier

Use contacts you already have. GBPH Sourcing coordinates only the agreed order support; it does not take ownership of your existing supplier relationship.

PRO

Agree access before purchase

Confirm whether the product quotation includes supplier introductions, factory identity, underlying quotations or direct communications. Do not assume every item is included by default.

CUSTOM

Define the research deliverable

A standalone screening or quotation-comparison project can specify which supplier identities, contact details, sources and verification records will be handed over.

Confidentiality, disclosure permissions, intellectual property and the contractual seller are defined by the accepted agreement. Independent audits and document checks have their own limitations.

Who you pay, who supplies the goods and who approves changes
TRANSACTION CLARITY

A service-fee model and an included-service product quote can have different contracting arrangements. Confirm the following in your written proposal before any payment or purchase order.

QuestionWhat your written quote should specify
Who is the seller? The legal entity issuing the goods invoice and the party selling the products to you.
Who receives your payment? The payee, payment milestones, currency and documents required before a transfer.
Can you contact the supplier directly?Supplier disclosure, communication access and ownership of relevant product records under the chosen arrangement.
Who handles product issues?Inspection and acceptance criteria, escalation route, remedies and the contractual party responsible for resolving claims.
What is outside the fee?Sample rounds, tooling, third-party audits, laboratory tests, warehouse handling, freight, destination duties and other exclusions.

This page explains the pricing model, not universal sales, warranty or refund terms. The accepted product quotation and contract determine the actual obligations for your purchase.

HOW CUSTOM PROJECTS ARE QUOTED

Choose one defined output rather than a full managed order. Custom project fees are confirmed by written quote because the scope and provider costs differ by request.

Published Basic fee examples

$2,000 managed goods: $100 management fee.
$5,000 managed goods: $250 management fee.
$10,000 managed goods: $500 management fee.

These examples show only the published 5% Basic fee with the $100 minimum for one qualifying order, excluding any mixed-product handling and third-party costs.

Why Custom has no single price

A document-only supplier review, an onsite factory audit and a monthly order-management assignment require different resources. GBPH Sourcing will specify the deliverable, covered units or suppliers, timeframe and exclusions before confirming a fee.

Request a Custom fee quote →

No fixed Custom prices are promised here. All amounts not included in a signed quote remain subject to separate approval.

Keep a separate register for additional costs

A service-fee estimate becomes a useful buying budget only when the other costs are made visible. For each item, record the provider, charging basis, current amount, relevant dependency and approval status. Mark an unquoted item as pending instead of treating it as zero.

A known-cost subtotal is deliberately narrower than a final landed cost. The Basic calculator does not determine cargo classification, current duties, freight capacity or product-compliance requirements. Those depend on the actual goods, destination and contracted services.

Changes, recurring work and project closure

When the scope changes

A new product, revised specification or extra provider task can affect both workload and cost. The revised proposal should identify the added work and what it changes before you authorize it.

Keep the original quote and the change approval connected. That makes the final invoice understandable and helps distinguish a new task from work already covered.

When the engagement is reviewed or closed

A project should identify the deliverables and remaining handoff actions. A recurring arrangement should identify the workload and next review. Payment, cancellation, termination and refund provisions belong in the accepted agreement.

This pricing page does not create a booking, payment instruction or universal refund promise. It helps you understand the published fee method before requesting that agreement.

Questions about the arrangements

Which arrangement should I choose if I already have a factory?

Supplier Support is the starting point for defined management of an order with suppliers you provide. The published fee is 5% of the managed goods value, with a $100 minimum per order, plus any applicable handling and separately approved costs.

Why is Sourcing Partnership quoted with the goods?

It is a product-quotation model for sourcing arranged by GBPH Sourcing. The agreed sourcing service is paid for within the quoted product price rather than through an additional Supplier Support percentage on the same scope.

Can I commission one task without a managed order?

Yes. Project Desk can define a standalone review or coordination task when the output is workable. The proposal states the fee, deliverables and boundaries.

Can one project use more than one arrangement?

Yes, if the quote clearly allocates the goods and tasks. For example, an existing-supplier order and a separate new-product research task can have different scopes. Shared provider costs should be allocated explicitly.

Does the Basic estimate include physical inspection or storage?

Only if you enter a known cost or the accepted quote expressly includes it. The standard fee structure does not silently include every partner service.

When is the final price confirmed?

After the relevant product, supplier and work requirements are reviewed and a written quote is accepted. The Basic calculator remains indicative; Pro and Custom require written quotations.

What should I send to receive a useful quote?

Send the specification or reference, quantity per product, approximate goods value, destination, current supplier situation and the task you want managed. Explain which inputs are still undecided.

How should I compare two service proposals?

Use the same product specification, quantity and purchasing stage. Compare the actual deliverables, price basis, separate provider costs, approval responsibilities and handoff points, rather than the fee percentage alone.

Put the scope beside the price

Share the product and purchasing facts. GBPH Sourcing will define the arrangement, deliverables and separately approved costs in a written proposal.
